Welcome to our Newborn Gallery and Investment information. We love newborn photography, such a precious time. Being parents ourselves, we know just how fleeting these moments can be.

When is the best time for newborn photos?

From our experience, we recommend our clients to bring bubs in between 7-14 days days old. They would have had the chance to start growing back a bit of baby fat, and still dreamy and sleepy enough to allow us to mould and fold them for those super cute images.

Do I need to feed the baby before hand?

You can feed baby before hand if you wish, or feed in the studio so the baby can have the chance to relax in a new environment. For most of our newborn photography sessions, it would be the first time that bub ventures outdoor, and they are always super curious about what is going on. It is likely that you would need to over feed bub during the shoot to calm and sooth them. Think of it like giving lollies and chocolate to young children to entice them to behave for the photoshoot.

The most important thing is for you to relax and enjoy the experience and don’t get nervous about how long it might take to put the baby to sleep. The more anxious you are, the more unsettling the baby will be.

Do I need to bring props, clothing?

We do have a lot of props and clothing items in our studio. However, you are more than welcome to bring any special items that you particularly want captured with your little one.

How long does it take?

Depending on how lucky we are, please expect anything from 2-4 hours for the photoshoot session. It is always worth it when you see all those cute poses that we can achieve once they are asleep.

Is skin smoothing and glamour editing included?

We like our images to reflect the true and natural beauty of our clients. Colour toning and professional standard editing is involved, but skin editing is an add-on service. Please enquire if this is important to you.
